AUGUST REFLECTIONS
In the past, I always focused on finding the negative in every situation. However, after embracing the power of gratitude, I started to grow and change for the better.
For years, I lived in the shadow of pessimism, but recently, a glimmer of hope has illuminated my path, transforming my outlook on life.
GRATITUDE IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS
Seeking revenge is not our responsibility. In a world filled with malicious intentions, we must relinquish the desire to retaliate against those who have harmed us.
Perhaps one of the most difficult pills to swallow.
No matter what obstacles come my way, I will stay resolute in my dedication to advocating for justice without causing harm to anyone else.
There have been moments in my life where I have been so confident that I failed to remember that mistakes can happen without intention.
I am practising mindfulness and holding onto hope that all will be well while maintaining my confidence.
Here is my quote from my latest blog entry titled 'Facing the Harsh Reality'.
Growing up surrounded by the negativity of others' experiences and opinions, it is not your fault for how it affects you.
As an adult, seeking therapy to address the impact of growing up around negativity is crucial in order to prevent it from sabotaging your future relationships.
Following years of introspection and personal growth, one ultimately finds peace in accepting themselves.
The journey doesn't stop here. I must persist in evolving and improving various aspects of my life to become a better version of myself.
We are made for action. When we become static, our lives start to fall apart. When we stop moving forward, our health declines, our relationships suffer, our bank accounts can’t survive, and our mental health deteriorates.
