BOREDOM IS PAINFUL

There are those days when I feel a lack of enthusiasm to do anything at all.

It’s not through lack of resources, I have plenty to be getting on with, I just lose can’t be bothered.

I love to socialize and network at events and conferences, making new connections.

However, I have an extremely low concentration span and tend to get bored of people who talk excessively and in detail.

When I hear the usual suspects, always taking over the conversation, my mind wanders elsewhere, and I am itching to tell them to shut up.

I acknowledge that everyone has their own interest, it would be boring if we were all the same, but their ability to make everything about themselves becomes painfully boring.

I find that the repetitive tasks that I find myself having to do every day can become very tedious.

I live my life by having a routine that’s the only way I can manage the balance of my life. I make sure that I vary what I do so that it does not feel like a chore.

I am a restless type of person (I think it runs in the family) who likes to keep myself constantly busy.

If I am watching a movie, I am playing a game on my tablet. I also like to make sure that everything around me is organised and tidy.

I rarely find myself bored these days as I spend most of my time doing what I am enthusiastic about.

If I have to attend meetings that involve one person talking too much I switch off and concentrate on what I have to accomplish for the rest of the day.

A great way to create a healthy routine is to make a list of the things that you enjoy and make sure that you fit one of them into your day.

We spend the majority of our lives working to keep a roof over our head, and if we have dependents we are looking after them, so we need to find time for ourselves to do the things we like.

The balance of life is to make time to live and enjoy it.

In everything there must be a balance.
