LIVE & LET LIVE
In life, facing challenges and hardships is inevitable.
These difficult experiences are essential for our personal growth and development; without them, we would remain stagnant and never reach our full potential.
The world can be harsh and unforgiving, and it often feels like darkness overshadows the light, especially when the news is bombarded with opposing headlines.
Conflict, hunger, illness, and mortality…
Some individuals commit heinous acts with the deliberate intention of causing harm to others, such as murderers, rapists, and extremists.
The demands of society for recognition and acceptance have turned into a heavy burden for all to shoulder.
One would imagine that if you steer clear of the exaggerated tales spun by the media, you might just find that living a problem-free life is entirely possible, and avoiding debates about politics or religion could save you from unnecessary stress.
Sadly, you will consistently be caught up in one problem or another.
Such is life.
Over the past few years, I have consciously tried to avoid the things I have listed, prioritising a stress-free lifestyle.
Through my social media platforms, I strive to promote well-being and empower others to create a fulfilling life for themselves.
Despite my efforts, people will always exhibit ignorance, arrogance, and a know-it-all attitude.
It’s impossible to assist everyone, as their egos consume them, and others have given up on living.
Just like any tool, social media has the potential to be used for both positive and negative purposes.
Not everyone’s opinions will align with yours, and there will be instances where you may find specific posts offensive or vulgar.
You can choose whether to read, comment on, or sever your connection.
Each of us holds unique standards and hails from different backgrounds.
I understand why people become frustrated and need to curse when life feels unjust.
Social media can be a dangerous space, as it often attracts individuals who thrive on negativity and enjoy tearing others down through bullying and hurtful behaviour.
The disturbing things I’ve witnessed have me questioning who oversees everything. They only seem to remove content that is flagged without a valid reason.
This blog promotes the importance of showing respect to others and allowing people to live their lives the way they choose.
It is ultimately up to the individual to decide how they want to live.
Everyone has the right to their opinion and should not be attacked for having a different perspective.
Regardless of your personal beliefs, it is essential to respect the beliefs of others, whether they align with your own or not.
There will inevitably be bothersome individuals who incite you with their self-pitying posts. They must find a way to express their feelings and let off steam.
If your response is not helpful, it’s best not to respond.
It’s your choice to share your personal life publicly but be prepared for the possibility that some people may ridicule or unfriend you.
I believe that individuals should resolve their conflicts privately and refrain from airing their issues in public.
People who lack fulfilment in their own lives often find entertainment in immersing themselves in the drama of others, likely deriving amusement from their misfortunes.
Everyone has unique interests, and social media provides a platform to connect with others who share similar passions.
A common occurrence is when people fake their life stories to enhance their status in life.
It’s their prerogative to do so. If they are being dishonest, they are only fooling themselves.
It is not our place to expose their lies.
I find it impossible to fabricate my past or present, knowing that the truth will inevitably surface in the future.
I simply prefer to live my life in my way.
I do not seek out dramatic events for fulfilment. What truly fulfils me is witnessing someone succeed, conquer an illness, or positively impact the community.
Our natural inclination is to feed off the negativity of others rather than their positivity, as it is ingrained in our programming.
The media and those in positions of power hold sway over most of us, feeding off the chaos and tragedies of the world.
The negative traits of jealousy, envy, deceit, and self-centeredness hold us back as individuals.
When faced with something we don’t comprehend, instead of staying silent, we often seek a clever response that makes us appear foolish.
There are moments when you simply must agree to disagree.
Another issue arises from individuals who meddle in the affairs of others and dismiss those who are different as degenerates.
When individuals choose to express their sexuality or switch religions openly, they often face unwarranted judgment from those who have no authority to do so.
It’s not your concern how others choose to live their lives, particularly when their choices do not impact you in any way.
I believe that those who are quick to judge often have a multitude of flaws themselves.
In the past, I was preoccupied with how others saw me and constantly sought to please them. However, this futile endeavour only left me feeling unfulfilled and trapped in a cycle of unhappiness.
Today, I live with a clear purpose and fully embrace my true self. If others don’t approve, that’s their issue, not mine.
When the day ends, it is solely my responsibility to be held accountable by God for any mistakes I have made.
I spent a large part of my life seeking approval from others, but ultimately, this pursuit proved unsuccessful.
Anyone’s expectations do not bind me, and I am liberated to embrace my true self.
I vow to make the most of the time I have left on this planet, using it wisely and respecting the freedom of others to live as they please.
In everything, there must be a balance.
